Take us out to the ball game..

We took the boys to a Rivercats baseball game the other night. It is the minor league team out of Sacramento. We enjoyed a couple innings of the game and of course we endulged in $1.oo hot dogs, $1.oo ice cream conescotten candy, and licorice. The boys had a lot of fun and were so excited about the night. On the way home Luke said, "Daddy that was so much fun." Thanks grandma and grandpa for taking care of Allie so we could spend some time with the boys.

Luke's Prayer

This was Luke's prayer tonight, I could recite it just about every night because it is always exactly the same, but tonight he added a line that had me biting my tongue so I wouldn't laugh out loud....

"Dear Jesus, thank you for Spencer, thank you for Sheena, thank you for Mark, thank you for Abigail, Thank you Jesus for daddy, and mommy, and Andrew, and sister SHE EATS CORN....thank you Jesus. Amen"

Allie just started eating rice cereal and apparently Luke thinks it is corn. If only I had it on tape because his little voice makes it even better, he is so matter of fact in the way he says things. I wish I could find a way to record their little prayers because they are always so special and cute.

Go BLUE...Let the season begin

Football season is here, so daddy made his yearly purchase of matching Michigan shirts for the boys. Andrew and Luke were so excited when their shirts came in the mail and I can't get them through the wash quick enough. They want to wear them everyday. They are always yelling "Go Blue" and "Michigan". Every Saturday the game is on in our house and blue shirts are the attire for the day. Allie has a pink Michigan onesie that she will be wearing and I bypassed my opportunity to purchase a shirt for myself so I will be wearing Andy's hat to show team spirit. I love when football season starts because it means that we are entering FALL, and I love the cool weather and the changing leaves!!!

Allie eats and plays...

Allie is learning many new things these days. She has entered the phase of being constantly hungry and never being satisfied with her bottle, so I took her shopping last night to Target for rice cereal and new spoons. Allie enjoys shopping trips with mommy and we are already finding ourselves getting into a little trouble when we shop together. She is also holding her head up better when she is on her tummy. She is so cuddly and we can't give her enough kisses.

Andrew's First Day of Pre-School

Andrew started his second year of pre-school today. He had a great day seeing old friends and making new ones. He is very excited to have the same teachers he had last year. It looks like it is going to be a great year.

Labor Day

We spent labor day with Pake, Oma, Aunt Diana, and Aunt Lily. We drove up to Coloma for a picnic lunch and to enjoy the river and the gold country.
