Kindergartners Love St. Patricks Day

It was a fun day in kindergarten today...when the kids came in the classroom there was quite a mess. They had set their leprechaun traps, but that silly guys came running through the classroom, but didn't get caught. He left green footprints all over, messed things up, turned the toilet water green, lost his sparkling shoe, and even left the kids a note. There was a lot of excitement in the room, if you can imagine. After lunch I was able to come in and have a party with the kids. We made a special "leprechaun dessert" together, played BINGO, made leprechaun masks, and made magical wands. The kids just love all these kinds of things and it makes it so fun to celebrate these holidays with them. I love the opportunity I get to help out and be a part of Andrew's class!!!
