Santa made his yearly visit to our neighborhood the other night on his firetruck. The kids all ran out to the corner because they could hear his music toward the back of our neighborhood. There must have been a good echo that night because we all stood outside for 40 minutes before Santa actually made it to our street. Luke and Allie get a bit nervous about Santa, but Andrew was beyond excited. He was running up and down the street checking to see if Santa was coming. I just love watching him get so excited about such a fun tradition. After Santa finally arrived Andrew was so excited he ran directly in front of the Fire pick-up truck trying to chase Santa. He said he was trying to pretend he was a different kid so that the elves would give him another candy cane. I mean, seriously....the mind of a 6 year old boy...it's fine to run across the street and almost get hit by a firetruck if it means I get another candy cane!! It ended up being a fun night and full of a lot of excitement! Thanks Rocklin Fire Department!
