This year we decided to add some fun into Superbowl Sunday. We had a neighborhood football game where we created teams by our streets. It was Magnolia vs. Escallonia. We had a good time trash talking the whole week before and trying to psych each other out. Escallonia decided to be the Steelers, since most all of them are Steeler fans. Magnolia decided to wear blue shirts, bandanas, and my old crazy tube socks. It was a beautiful afternoon, the kids loved playing at the school, and the adults had a good old game of flag football. Everyone was a bit sore the next day, but it was worth it. Magnolia walked away with the victory this year....there may be a bit of recruiting though for next year!!!
