Last Saturday we completed the Tour De Rocklin Family Ride. This is a fun bike ride that the school district sets up as a fundraiser. There are 50, 30, 20, 10, & 5 mile bike rides that you can take. They go all throughout the city and pass by the local schools, which also serve as water stations that the teachers work at. We did the 5 mile family ride. It is very low key and you could start whenever you arrived. I pulled Allie and Luke in the trailer, Andy rode, and Andrew rode his bike. It was kind of a hilly course through neighborhoods, but we completed it with "no complaining" from Andrew. After the ride they serve you lunch at one of the local high schools. The kids thought it was cool to eat where the big kids have lunch. It was a beautiful morning and we had a great time as a family. After the ride the boys headed out for some fishing with grandpa and Allie and I had a "girls" afternoon.
Pizza night!
