Beautiful Trees...Spring is coming...

I love these little red leafed trees...at this time of year they are covered in tiny pink flowers and all the new leaves are sprouting. There are hundreds of these trees in our neighborhood and around town. They are just beautiful!!! We love to look at them and we enjoy the couple in our own backyard. It is a great sign to us that Spring is on it's way!!!

A Day with Uncle Jesse

Uncle Jesse took the boys to the park and on a hiking adventure Saturday morning. Daddy was still out of town, so the boys enjoyed some boy time with their uncle. They were so excited when he called that they got ready immediately and waited by the front window. They were both excited to show him their new shoes. Andrew is very proud of his "Sketchers". Luke got a pair of his favorite "Vans". Luke also brought along his doggie and Douglas the monkey. He was trying out the new camera and took about 20 pictures of these two guys sitting in the front window.

Big Girl Shoes

The kids and I went shoe shopping this week. Everyone got a new pair of shoes, even Allie. She got her first pair of big girl shoes. Mommy is going to be in trouble when she really starts walking and using her shoes more, because I could have bought many many pairs for her while shopping. After buying countless boys tennis shoes that get dirty and holes in the toes, the little girl ones look so cute!!! I'm sure she will have her fair share of dirty scuffed up shoes...she is one tough girl!!!

Our Blue-Eyed Beauty is 9 Months

Allie turned 9 months at the end of February...she is now a crawler!!! She has also discovered that she really does like food, I thought she wasn't such a big eater because she would throw a fit when we tried to feed her baby food. When I started giving her big people food broken into tiny pieces, she started eating like a champ!!! She still has only 2 teeth on the bottom and we have been waiting for her top ones, she has lots of signs of teething, but no teeth. Luke enjoys calling her "Alice" these days. She is a JOYFUL girl and we can't believe she is already 9 months!!! We love her so much!!!

Daddy is the Best

Andy was out of town this week for work and he left us a card and a treat for the boys each day. He is amazing!!! The boys were very excited to wake up each morning to see what daddy had left. One day they got Spiderman placemats and loved eating breakfast off of them. Mommy also loved trying out her new camera...yeah it came in the mail!!!! I was lost without my camera. We miss you daddy and love you so much!!!

Welcome to the wide world of sports..we have officially entered it!!! Andrew is playing T-Ball this year...on a real team...The Warriors!!! He is excited to be playing with his cousin Ben and some of his neighborhood and school friends. Their first practice was fun to watch and we can't wait for the games to start. Pake and Oma were in town so they were able to come watch the practice. Andrew's favorite part of practice is running the bases. Luke also loves to go to practice and play with all his little friends in the dirt and any place else they find exciting. Him and Abigail are best buddies and love cheering on their brothers. Luke loves to take pictures of Andrew practicing, he took so many pictures at the first practice that our camera finally bit the dust and broke (it's been close for a while). We look forward to a great season!!! GO WARRIORS!

Our Sick Little Girl

February has been a month full of sick kiddos for us. Poor Allie had horrible ear infections and a bad cough. She has had breathing treatments and her fair share of antibiotics. Sleeping has been a challenge, but one day I found her like this in her crib...her first time sleeping on her tummy and sucking her thumb, which she has never done either.
