The dads put on a small firework show for us on 4th of July. Heidi, Luke, and Eli enjoyed the show but Andrew and Ben were a little scared. They wouldn't really admit it, but everytime a firework was lit they ran for the garage. I love little Heidi in this picture, she is all patriotic in her red, white, and blue. We had a super fun 4th !!
We had a great time on 4th of July with some of our neighbors. We spent the day at my parents house and swam. All our kids are great friends and we love that we live by such great families.
andrew and luke are beginning to learn how to play together and they have realized that being a brother is actually pretty fun. andrew enjoys setting things up perfectly. he lines up every car he owns in a long parade. luke enjoys being the demolition man, which always causes some excitement in the house. Andrew did say the other day that Luke is his best friend. Wow!!! Mommy was excited to hear that.
We had a memorable week in Hawaii with 20 of our high school students from Sunrise church. We celebrated their high school graduations. Andrew and Luke did a great job considering lots of van rides, long days, and lots of people. Andrew loved boogie boarding, jumping off a waterfall, playing with his friends Emma & Hannah, and hula dancing on stage at the luau. Luke loved the beach, especially throwing sand and rolling in the ocean waves with dad or mom. He also enjoyed being the most tan person on the trip, all the girls were jealous!!
