Different Ideas of Fun...

Andrew could have stayed in the snow all day if it weren't for his dad's legs freezing off (guess we need to invest in snow pants for daddy). He made a little hill for his sleds and climbed up and down over and over again. He could hardly take a break to eat his lunch.

Luke was in the snow for about 5 minutes before he asked to go back to the car. The fresh powder was super deep and the poor guy just sank whenever he tried to take a step. He hates that the snow sticks to his gloves and gets him wet. He enjoyed snuggling up in the back of the car with Uncle Paul's bedding from college (it happened to be in the back of our car from our trip home from LA) and eating snack after snack after snack. He had a great time just playing in the car and staying dry.

Today was the Day!!!

Andrew's pre school had their Christmas performance today. It was a super cute little show. We were so proud of our boy. We were nervous that he would be hesitant to stand on stage in front of everyone, but he did great. They sang songs and recited verses from the Christmas story. It was precious. If you visit our house during Christmas, you'll probably have to see at least part of the video of the show. Andrew is very proud.

Christmas Boys...

The boys are into putting their arm around eachother for pictures. I love it!!! I took these this morning before Andrew's pre-school Christmas performance. I thought they were so cute (as I do of all the pictures of our boys). They really do love eachother.

A Fun Christmas Weekend

This past weekend we went to LA to visit friends and family for Christmas. Unfortunately the photo chip in our camera got lost in the street and by the time my sister rescued it for me it had been run over a few too many times. So we have no pictures from the weekend, but we still had a great time. We spent Friday night with college friends for our Annual Christmas dinner. It was a lot of fun and we had many good laughs. On Saturday we spent the day at Grandma "E"s house for an early Christmas. The boys had so much fun and loved all their new toys. Grandma's house was decorated with so many fun decorations, which made it very exciting for the little guys. It was a great weekend and we were glad that we were able to celebrate Christmas with all our special friends and relatives down south.

Merry CHRISTmas....

We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Our family is loving everything about the holidays this year. We have shopping done, presents wrapped, and decorations are up. We are looking forward to enjoying the next couple weeks of Christmas festivities with little stress of things to do. The boys love it all.....here are a few of their favorites....The daily Advent calendar (thanks Oma), the nativity set, turning on and off the tree lights at least 10 times a day, showing anyone who walks in our house all the ornaments on the tree, turning on the outside lights every night, walking through a local neighborhood with friends to see tons of Christmas lights and dancing snowmen, playing with their train, talking about their cousin baby Noah coming to their house on Christmas (Luke calls him "my baby Noah"), and reading Christmas stories every night on the couch. It is so much fun to enjoy this special time of year with our little guys. It makes the whole season s0 much fun to share in the excitement with them. We are looking forward to spending time during Christmas with both our families. We'll head to L.A. this weekend to celebrate with family at Grandma E's house and also with college friends. We get to spend Christmas Eve day with my whole family and Christmas day evening hosting Andy's whole family. We are excited to have everyone at our house this year to enjoy eachother, yummy food, and the kids. Our festivities last all week as we celebrate Andy's birthday on the 26th and Luke's on the 27th..
We hope that this Christmas season brings JOY to each of your homes.

Classic Andrew & Luke

These pictures sum up Andrew perfectly...so silly!! We have a whole collection of pictures of him making silly faces and being our little goof ball.

These pictures sum up Luke as well...mr. innocent (though he isn't innocent a lot of the time). He is always looking cute and as if he does not a thing wrong. Don't get me wrong this little guy has discovered that if his brother doesn't share something with him, he will just pick up another toy and throw it right at him. This always makes for an uproar in our house!! He's quickly learning to not put up with much.
