Opening Day of Baseball 2010....

Saturday was a "baseball filled day" We set out to the field early for team pictures, then opening ceremonies, and finally our first game. The Stingers did great.....especially with hitting, they all had some great hits!! We had the first game, so we had a lot of fans supporting us. Lots of family, friends, and neighbors came out to cheer the Stingers on!!! Daddy is the team pitcher...and he did a great job!!! Andrew had two awesome hits and he means business when he gets up to the plate. He stands with his arms held high and waves his bat around (he's watched a few too many baseball games with daddy). Luke was in full uniform for pictures, bravely made it through opening ceremonies clinched to daddy's leg, and then was a huge help to mommy in the dugout filling up water bottles. Allie wore her bee outfit all morning and of course got many comments about being such a cute mascot!! She is one tough girl...she has no fear of the boys and is constantly poking at them, flipping their hats off, or teasing them. We have a great team with so many supportive and helpful parents. It made the game go a lot smoother with so much help from everyone. We had team shirts made and it looks great to see our stands filled with parents all wearing their Stinger shirts.
So here we go....headed into another spring baseball season!! Go STINGERS!!!
