Incidences of the Season ..so far..

Well these two boys keep us on our toes....they love the Christmas season and get very excited...here is an incidence that we endured the other day...
Tuesday while grandma was over at our house, she was making the boys lunch and looked up to see our entire Christmas tree on the ground with Andrew and Luke underneath. Poor grandma's afternoon consisted of redecorating our tree, having grandpa bring over new lights, since so many broke in the fall, borrowing the neighbor Mark to vacuum, and hearing Andrew tell her that all the decorations were in the wrong spots. She did a great job redecorating!!
Daddy and mommy were not so happy when we got home with our oldest son because 2 days in a row ornaments were broken. Andrew however was sorry for doing it, but very excited to tell us the whole story. When Andy asked him how it fell over he said in a very energetic voice, "I just gave it a big tug and then I had to dive out from underneath and Luke was still under there." This was obviously a very exciting thing for him. Once we got over the silly behavior we were able to chuckle about it, knowing that it would be something we would look back on and laugh.

The boys have really been enjoying visiting a local neighborhood that is covered in Christmas lights...we frequently visit the neighborhood in the evenings all bundled up. This was the boys on Monday evening ready to ride their hotwheels around the neighborhood in the 40 degree weather. They had no trouble falling asleep that night.
