We Love the Pumpkin Patch

I love fall, I love the pumpkin patch and I love taking pictures of my kiddos. Put that all together and you end up with hundreds of pictures from one trip to the pumpkin patch. We headed out to Bishops Pumpkin Patch this evening for our yearly trip with friends. We like to go in the evening because it is less crowded, I think it a beautiful to see the sun set out on the farm, and parking is free past 5pm. We went with the DeJongs and Polishucks, and as always the kids had a great time together. We let them go on the giant Coyote Mountain slide and pan for gold this time. Andrew informed us on the way up to the patch that the train was "boring" Funny it wasn't boring on Monday when he went with his class for a filed trip. Silly boy!!! The kids also love playing with the animals and watching them. This year there are a lot f baby pigs and goats. Andrew claims he has three goat friends now and Luke was brave to pet them from outside the cage. Allie enjoys the animals as always, but of course she had to find the goat poop to step in. I took Toni and Jesse's good camera, so I went really crazy with the pictures, especially of Allie. She likes me to take her picture, and isn't as busy playing as the boys are. It was also fun because last year she was just barely sitting, so this year I felt like I could get some great pictures of her exploring. We ended our night with a yummy McDonalds dinner on the drive home. It was a great evening and I'm sure we will be making a few more pumpkin patch visits this season.

Soccer Buddies

Andrew's Kindergarten Friends
Soccer Saturdays are a lot of fun. All the Rocklin 6 and under teams play at one location, so there are usually four games going on at a time. Andrew loves seeing other friends play and he thinks it is "so much fun" when he sees some of his buddies. Today we saw his friends Drew and JJ from class. As always I love when I hear the kids yell "hey Andrew V." from across the field.
The siblings have been enjoying the games as well. They like to hang out under the umbrella and eat snacks and more snacks. Luke and Jacob will get up and play soccer for a bit with eachother, but then it's back to look for more snacks. Allie eats her snacks and then walks up and down the row of parents looking for more. They are doing a great job supporting their brother.

Comedy Night at Church

Friday night we had a comedy/dessert night at church. Christina and I did the decorations for it. We went with a fall theme and tried to transform the lobby into a relaxing and pretty atmosphere. We had a good time decorating, despite lots of hard work, but we had some great laughs together. It was a very enjoyable evening with friends and my parents.

Andrew heads to the Pumpkin Patch

Andrew’s Kindergarten class went on their first field trip today…to Bishop’s Pumpkin Patch. They got to ride on a school bus, which was very exciting for them. It was fun for the moms as well because we got to ride together and enjoy a Starbucks on the drive….very relaxing. This is the first time I was able to go with just Andrew, and it was so nice to be able to walk around and enjoy everything with him…no strollers, baby b’jorns, or diaper bags. It was great to watch him interact with the kids in his class. He goes by “Andrew V.” and I love when I hear the kids saying his name. Andrew is just a fun boy…I love him…I had a smile on my face today watching him. He is friendly, listens to his teacher, has a great time with friends, hugs his buddies, and is very intense about being the line leader. It was a great morning with Ms. Ayala’s PUPPY CLASS. I am looking forward to Luke’s pumpkin patch field trip in a couple weeks.

Silly...Silly...Girl at the Table

Allie is a character...she keeps us laughing because she is so stink'in cute. She seems to put on a show just about every meal together. Here she is saying "CHEESE" while eating her white powdered donut (healthy..I know). She makes this face over and over again at the boys because they crack up laughing at her. Love her!!!

Luke enjoying his first cup of apple cider and a pumpkin bar...yeah for Fall!!!

Just and Afternoon at Home

Just felt like taking pictures one afternoon after the kids got up from nap and friends were over. Allie and Austin were playing so nicely together and Andrew and Lauren were sharing their snack so cute on the couch. Luke was waiting for Jakey to wake up, so he had a buddy to share with.
