I found a fun book this year that has a little devotion for each day of December. We have been enjoying reading it each day, filling in the blanks on a little prayer, and doing the activity it suggests. The other day the activity was to practice swaddling a baby doll like they did with baby Jesus. Allie of course got one of her baby dolls, but the boys each brought out a random stuffed animal. Andrew wrapped up his Sharkey and Luke wrapped up a little dog in his small blanket. The boys were really trying to swaddle the right way. Luke even had his dog sleep at the end of his bed in Allie's baby cradle. Excuse the PJ selection of my boys. They got new Michigan boxers from Aunt Emmie and Uncle Gary and they love to wear them to bed. We're just not so good with finding a matching PJ top. We of course ended our swaddling lesson by the boys each taking family portraits.
